Mt. Cholatse (6440 m)
Mt. Cholatse (6440 m)

The Mt. Cholatse(6,440m) is a hidden pride of the Himalayan ranges. Also known as Jobo Lhaptshan, this peak is a beautiful snow-capped mountain in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Its pointy summit pierces through clouds and reaches for the sky. In the word Cholatse, ‘Cho’ means lake, ‘la’ means pass and ‘tse’ means peak. The lake-pass-peak is far more difficult to climb than many other popular Himalayan peaks. This trek is only recommended for experienced climbers with the right skills and equipment to make the climb if the plan is to go up to the tip of the pinnacle.

One of the most amazing things about the Mt. Cholatse peak climbing is the long ridge, that connects the peak to another peak that is 6,501m high, the Taboche. The other exceptional gift of nature is the Chola glacier on the east of the Cholatse. Everest base camp trekkers are able to see the peak from Dughla, a small mountain pass in the district of Solukhumbu. Many trekkers returning from the EBC trek or on their Gokyo Ri trek prefer to take the Cholatse peak climbing (6440m) route to visit this tucked-away gem.

Mt. Machermo (6237 m)
Mt. Machermo (6237 m)

Mt. Machhermo (6237m) is an attention grabbing paramount peak with significant challenges on the way up for climbers. It rests gracefully on the way to the Gokyo Ri, another magnificent summit 5,357m high. The climb is almost impossible for first time trekkers, however the phenomenal view of the Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Makalu, Cho Oyu and more such iconic pinnacles has convinced even the inexperienced mountaineers to go for the trek no matter the challenge of the climb. The peak lies in the Mahalangur Himal section of the Himalayan region of Nepal.

Trekkers enjoy Mt. Machermo Peak Climbing, and love the exciting experience of passing through the yak territory on their way to the six highest freshwater lakes, the Gokyo Lakes. The magnificent panorama of the rocky meadows and the everlasting moraines are worth all the trouble of climbing up the mountains in the Machhermo region. Novice trekkers are guided by expert mountaineers during the Machermo peak climbing. The base camp is set at a height of 5140m, and this climb can be as challenging as the mighty Everest itself. According to the Mountain trekking agency of Nepal, the Mt. Machhermo trek is one of the most challenging but rewarding treks in the Himalayan region of Nepal.

Mt.Nirekha (6186 m)
Mt.Nirekha (6186 m)
Mt.Nirekha (6186 m)

Mt. Nirekha(6,069m) is extremely difficult to climb, but if you can climb this white mountain, it would make you an experienced climber. This trek is mainly for mountaineers with technical knowledge on how to use their equipment wisely, and for them who have been on climbs like this one before. There are two summit pyramids, one towards the south with a huge crevasse to cross and the other towards the north, this ice-route is steep at a 50 degree angle. The height of both the summits seem to match, and the beauty of these intimidating heights is unexplainable.

The exhausting climb is going to take ice-axes, crampons and some ropes. It is possible to climb the peak as most of the climbers have successfully returned from the Mount Nirekha peak climbing trek. Once you’re at the summit, the view of the paramount pinnacle Mt. Everest. is absolutely amazing. Other summits like the Cho Oyu, the Cholatse, Gokyo Ri, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, etc. would give you an unforgettable panoramic view. If you go alongside the Ngozumpa glacier, you will be able to also experience visiting the six freshwater lakes that are connected with each other in some way. You might also come across Kalapathhar, which is one of the most visited view points to get a closer look at the Mt. Everest. Climb Mount Nirekha peak 6186 m, it’s the best adventure you would have in a long time.

Mt. Phari Lapcha (6017 m)

Mt. Phari Lapcha(6,017m) is one of the paramount pinnacles in the Gokyo valley of Nepal. The summit rises all the way up from the yak pastures uniformly making a perfect pyramid of a snow-capped rock. The panoramic view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Ama Dablam from the top of the mountain is brilliant and surprisingly unique. Phari Laptsa Peak Climbing offers you a panoramic view of other famous peaks, glaciers and lakes sparkling away their dominance in the Himalayan region of Nepal.

The mountain is located in the Solukhumbu region and also falls under the Mahalangur Himalayan range. During the climb towards base camp, trekkers are taken aback by the beauty of the verdant meadows, the forests around the mountains and the white pinnacles give an absolutely outstanding and mesmerizing view. The Mt. Phari Lapcha is close to Gokyo and it is also the source of water for the Dudh Koshi, the holy river of Hindus living in the Himalayan region. The Mt. Phari Lapcha (6,017m) Trek in Nepal offers the joy of concurring two summits, the main summit is one and the other is a slightly smaller, east summit (5,977m), and both of these are equally challenging and adventurous.

Mt. Abi(Cholo Peak)(6,097m), also know widely as Kangchung, is situated in the Khumbu Himal range of Mahalangur Solukhumbu region of Nepal. Trekker go through the Kangchung La, a high mountain pass, to reach the mountain and then the climb begins. The ridges that leads up to the summit are very tricky and dangerous, the climb requires technical know-how of steep icy mountaineering. The snow slopes up a straight-forward ridge have convinced many to walk back without going up the summit. The trek up the Mt. Abi is less of an adventure and more of a challenge.

Many climbers who have not yet climbed an 8,000m peak, have expressed a feeling of completion after the Mount Abi Peak Climbing in Nepal, in their mountaineering experiences. The immaculate peak is difficult to climb, it is not for novices, and only skilled climbers with experience in climbing up icy steeps must try to go up to the summit. It gives you a perfect practice before you go for the 8,000m peaks. The view from up the summit cannot be explained in words. It is absolutely a different world up there. The Mt. Abi is certainly a must-visit mountain among the 6,000m summits.
