Mt. Mardi Himal (5587 m)

Mt. Mardi Himal (5587 m)

Mt. Mardi Himal (5,587m) is one of the smallest most popular trekking peaks in the Annapurna range of Nepal. On the way to the mountain you will come across vast verdant vegetated lands, terraced fields of paddy, lush-green forests and most importantly hanging glaciers. The brilliant vista from the tip of the mountain gives you the feeling of being in an oasis of snow and spectacular heights of rocks. Mardi Himal Trek is an excellent choice for first-time trekkers, and for experienced trekkers it is a must-visit because one of the most commanding views of the Annapurna range is known to be experienced from the Mardi Himal.

The Mardi himal peak climbing in Nepal brings in an increased number of visitors every year. Many locals visit the forests at an elevation of 3,300m, around the region to see the rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. It would take 3 to 4 hours for you to reach the Mardi Himal Base Camp from the High Camp which is at an altitude of 3,580m. On the way to the camp there are a number of tea houses and lodges especially for trekkers. The locals are extremely welcoming and share stories of previous trekkers who visited Mt. Mardi and enjoyed their trek.
