Mt. peak 38 Expedition

Mt. peak 38 Expedition

(34 NIGHTS/ 35 DAYS)

overview

Mt. Peak 38 (7,590m / 24,901ft.) is located in the Khumbu region of the Himalayas in Nepal. The incredibly beautiful peak stands at the border between Nepal and Tibet. The peak is a part of the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. It hides right behind the Imja Tse (Island Peak), and is a perfect seven-thousander for acclimatization before attempting an 8,000m peak. There’s little to no information on expedition Peak 38 and the reason for this is the lack of popularity. For committed climbers who are looking for summits that are unexplored and untouched, the Peak 38 is the perfect fit.

The Mt. Peak 38 expedition begins at Phakding and continues alongside Nepali and Tibetan villages, there are several stops at teahouses before you reach Peak 38 base camp. The Khumbu region is blessed with the most beautiful landscapes, rivers and lakes apart from the most popular Himalayan mountains for trekking and expeditions. There are a number of endangered animals and birds around the region because of the Everest National Park, and trekkers have the chance to see them. The Mt. Peak 38 is difficult to climb, it requires technical climbing skills and reliable climbing equipment. At Virgin Trials, we train you, guide you and ensure all your paperwork to get you ready and moving ahead with trekking to and climbing Peak 38.
