MT. Bhrikuti Expedition

MT. Bhrikuti Expedition

(39 NIGHTS/ 40 DAYS )

overview

Mt. Bhrikuti (6,364m / 20,879ft.) is an exquisite white peak situated in the confines of Nepal and Tibet. It was named after a beautiful Nepali princess, who was also the wife of Songsten Gampo, a famous Tibetan emperor. The peak offers spectacular views of the Mustang region, a few peaks like the Kumlun Himal and Shelka Kangri, and vistas of moors and massifs from the summit. According to frequent climbers, the easier route to summit the stunning six-thousander is via the north face.

The Bhrikuti Peak Climbing In Nepal 2019 begins and ends at Jomson. On the way to the base camp there are villages with teahouses and lodges to rest and acclimatize. Trekkers can pay visits to the caves and also enjoy the view at the popular Phewa lake. There a few small lakes that are sacred and blessed with breathtaking beauty. The climb is not difficult, but acclimatizing is very important. Novice climbers with previous experience in climbing should certainly go for this 6,000m peak. The crowd is less, the routes are clear and the risk of falling or injuring oneself is lesser than any other peak above 6,000 meters in Nepal.
