ANNAPURNA IV EXPEDITION

ANNAPURNA IV EXPEDITION

(41 NIGHTS/ 42 DAYS )

overview

Annapurna IV (7,525m / 24, 688 ft.) is a sky-piercing white mountain located in the eastern part of the Annapurna range. It is close to the Annapurna II mountain and lies south of the Thorong La. The exquisite peak was first climbed as a part of an expedition in 1955, by a German expedition that was led by Heinz Steinmetz. The climb was made via the North Face and Northwest ridges. This is the easiest route recommended for first-time climbers in the Annapurna range of mountains. Your Annapurna IV with Virgin Trails tour would begin at Honge and the team would return to the same town after the expedition is over.

The Annapurna IV expedition requires the set of three camps above 5,500m and it is comparatively easier to climb than the other Annapurna summits. The Annapurna IV is a perfect peak for acclimatization and experience of climbing a difficult peak. You can see the Manaslu, Tilicho Peak, and the Fish tail – Machhapuchhre from the summit of this dominating pinnacle. Only highly experienced expedition teams should go for the Annapurna IV expedition 42 days tour in Nepal, as there are several difficulties and obstacles on the way up to the summit.
